Es experta en espectroscopia estelar y en la determinaci\u00f3n de abundancias qu\u00edmicas en estrellas. Posee un profundo conocimiento en el an\u00e1lisis de datos provenientes de levantamientos espectrosc\u00f3picos, con \u00e9nfasis en las poblaciones estelares del disco y el halo gal\u00e1ctico. Ha sido pionera en estudios sobre filogen\u00e9tica de galaxias, dirigiendo el N\u00facleo Milenio ERIS y siendo reconocida en 2019 como una de las TIME100 Next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
