(Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile): Her research interests focus on understanding galaxy formation through the use of advanced numerical simulations that integrate chemical evolution along with other relevant physical processes. She has applied machine learning techniques to identify specific stellar populations within numerical simulations. She has extensive experience in mentoring young researchers. She is the leader of the new CIELO numerical simulation suite, which studies galaxy formation in different environments. She currently serves as deputy director of the Millennium Nucleus ERIS and is one of the Latin American leaders of the LACEGAL network (Horizon 2030).
