(University of Santiago of Chile, USACH): His research focuses on the study of stellar populations in the Milky Way, especially those located in the galactic bulge. His affiliation in Chile grants him privileged access to data obtained with large telescopes. He is an expert in stellar spectroscopy of resolved stellar populations and is currently part of the consortium responsible for the construction of the MOONS instrument, which will be installed on the Very Large Telescope (VLT).
